The delightful encounter between Yui-Jen and the tea ceremony can date back to 1986 where the founder cut his teeth on tea cultivation and sales. So much time does the founder spend with the tea, he grows more passionate about and more persistent in the tea; especially when it comes to tea baking process, his technique is second-to-none.

In 1995, the founder attends a well-known cutthroat Tea Competition in Nanto, which he, with his talent for Tea Baking, is awarded with the Glory Pine correspond to the Blue Ribbon in western countries. After the Nanto Tea Competition, he even wins several prizes and shows an excellent performance in the succeeding competitions in Ali Mountain in a row. Along the long Tea-Baking path, he clearly knows the difficulty in tea flavor quality maintenance not to speak of perfectly presenting the wonderful tea fragrance in his taste memory.

In the long journey of hojicha, The founder deeply understands the difficulty of preserving the flavor of tea leaves, and it is even more difficult to perfectly present the beautiful tea flavor in the founder's heart.

In 1989, the founder begins seeking additional possibilities of tea baking technique for the prevention of lossing the natural and velvety flavour as time fades. And this comes out as our Cornerstone—Tea Powder. Yui-Jen meticulously grinds the whole piece of a leaf so that the entire nutrition and flavour can be reserved. With a sip of the Yui-Jen tea powder, never will you taste the flat green tea drink but feel the leaves swim in your mouth with strong flavor- the complete whole Tea.

With decades of research and exploration, the tea raw material sourcing is even broadened to Japanese Matcha.

Yui-Jen regards Taiwanese tea as a hometown foundation and grows stronger with Japanese Matcha.

Established in 1997, Yui-Jen is going its own way, as it finds its feet and golden eggs through Taiwanese and Japanese tea powder.

The steadily increasing volume of customers eager to acquire fine tea powder enhances the reputation of Yui-Jen in the business world.

With long-accumulated experience in distinguishing the fine quality tea, we clearly know how to implement Quality Control, monitor every step of the process and examine our product on a certain duration and frequency so as to surpass ISO22000, Halal, HACCP certification standards.

Tea development- how we expand.

The earliest known history of tea was recorded in China, 59 B.C. Throughout the two thousands years evolvement of tea till now, tea has been given a diversity of patterns. Nowadays, tea can not only be served as classic boiled tea soup but used in cakes, beverages, revolutionary whisky and even the food in your plate, almost without any limit!

Yui-Jen has been committed to conveying tea ideas in a flexible and footloose way to the world and exploit overseas markets in this thousand-year time stream of tea ceremony. Aside from the Asian countries, Yui-Jen has been bringing the wonderful experience to every people in the world and share this enjoyable historic tea fragrance with them.

Types of Tea

Yui-Jen has devoted all our time and efforts to tea industry; in other words, they are just like good old friends for decades. Not only are Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Asia, etc. our customer base, but North America and Southeast Asia.
We supply a diversity of food industries such as snacks, desserts, beverages and delicatessen, etc. with ambition to develop tea ceremony. Through our mature knowledge of tea, we analysis Japanese matcha, green tea, black tea and oolong and even decrypt them and grind them into Powder which is our Core Value.

Yui-Jen work with various famous Foods Company. We accommodate each clients’ need from Tea selection, Color adjustment, Fragrance setting and Powder particle size in order to present “unique Customized Tea Powder.”

History

1997

"Yui-Jen Enterprise Co., Ltd." is founded.

1999

Introduces roasting tea machine to finely adjust the flavor of tea leaves.

2011

• Expands production scale and moves to Yongkang District, Tainan City, which covers 2082 square meters.
• Establishes overseas subsidiary "Dongguan Yi-Yu Food Co., Ltd."
• Obtains ISO22000 certification, the first ISO certified tea factory in Taiwan.

2012

Increases refrigerated warehouses to fully implement low-temperature control of raw materials and finished products.

2013

Takes out product liability insurance up to TWD$ 10 million.

2014

Obtains Halal certification. Yui-Jen is the first tea factory in Taiwan to be certified by Halal.

2015

Establishes tea labatory to develop quality and hygiene control policies.

2017

Large-scale upgrades of grinding equipment and addition of magnetic rods.

2019

Cooperates with Japanese tea-making team to introduce exclusive Japanese stone mortars.

2020

Upgrades factory equipment and installs ozone generator.

2022

The core product, "Matcha Powder", has expanded its market into HK, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Africa, UK, the USA, China and all over the world.
